All donations to the Food Bank are tax deductible and are used locally to help alleviate hunger in the Tanana Valley. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated and make a tremendous impact on our community. A copy of the Food Bank's IRS Letter of Determination for 501(c)(3), which donors may use for tax purposes, can be downloaded from the management and nonprofit profile section of this site.

Quota Club donates $350 to the Bone Builders program

Quota Club generously gave $350 to purchase protein items for the Bone Builders project in Summer of 2003. That buys a lot of Vienna Sausage. Thanks, Quota Club, for supporting this program for local children.

Fairbanks Foodbank Eligible for PFD Charitable Contributions Program

Now your PDF dollars can go even further! Fairbanks Foobank is eligible for the PFD Charitable Contributions Program. According to the Alaska Giving Coalition, the PFD Charitable Contributions Program is a new and innovative way for Alaskans to give to organizations around the state that improve our lives and communities. You can also bring your donation to the Food Bank (725 26th Avenue) or drop them off at our Fair Booth next to the Ptarmigan Stage. Our main Food Bank facility is open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
