Thanks to caring sportsmen and sportswomen, nearly 250 million meals are served annually via this program, which helps share nature's bounty with the hungry. This program is part of Safari Club International Foundation’s humanitarian services and it is active in all 50 states of the U.S., in parts of Canada, and in several other countries around the world.

Here in Fairbanks, the Fairbanks Community Food Bank gladly accepts all types of food donations from sportsmen and sportswomen, including:

• Wild Game
• Frozen Meat
• Thawed Meat

The Food Bank prefers to receive meat donations in 2 pound packages, but all size packages and donations are accepted.

To participate in the Sportsmen Against Hunger program and help feed the people of the Tanana Valley, please drop off your meat at 725 26th Avenue, Fairbanks, AK. Delivery can be made between 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, or by special arrangement.
