Commit To Make a Difference

Are you looking for a way to help others in your community? Did you make a New Year's resolution? It's never too late to start.

Your volunteer work can make good things happen for many people in the Tanana Valley. Commit to volunteer one week a year. Donate 40 hours of your time (3.5 hours/month) and make a big difference in local peoples' lives. People of all ages and all levels of ability are welcome.

Fairbanks, Alaska Community Food Bank Service

The Fairbanks Community Food Bank collects and redistributes donated food to individuals and agencies. Food is distributed through many programs including Food Boxes, Bone Builders, and Agency Shopping.

The Fairbanks Community Food Bank makes a difference in the lives of neighbors by sharing resources. The generous people of Fairbanks truly live the lessons taught by the Stone Soup Legend –– Fairbanks Style.

April 14th, 2012

Empty Bowls is April 14th, 2012

The Empty Bowls event is sponsored by the Fairbanks Potter's Guild.

The best potters in Interior Alaska will donate around 1000 bowls for sale (from $5 - $25).

You can also purchase the "extra special" bowls on the silent auction for as much as you are willing to pay.
