General Survey

The mission of your food bank is to:
collect all the cans in your cupboard and store them at 725 26th Avenue
collect surplus food in the community and give it to people who need it
ask local grocers for outside lettuce leaves and other discarded food

Your food bank is primarily a volunteer agency. Volunteers are
students in local schools
retired seniors
employee work groups who enjoy “team building”

Your food bank collects local surplus food and each day we receive
two hundred pounds
one thousand pounds
two to five tons

During the winter and at the end of each month your food bank makes an average of
10 food boxes each day

70 food boxes each day

Your food bank also distributes two USDA commodities programs. Each of these food programs distribute their food
