Food Boxes

Every day the volunteers pack and deliver between 30-50 food boxes each day. Each "box" contains at least 20 pounds of food per person and is enough food for three days.

Last year the Food Bank served over 27,000 clients and distributed 1,392,000 pounds of food thanks to 16,700 volunteer hours.

If You Need An Emergency Food Box

If you need an emergency food box, please contact the distribution agencies or churches directly on the days and times listed below.

  • Please call between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. (noon) Monday through Friday. Orders will not be taken before or after that time.
  • Orders are then picked up on the same day at the Church or Agency you called (not at the Food Bank). Please respect these times as the program is run almost entirely by volunteers who assist in the different parts of the preparation each day.
  • Remember! These food boxes are packed with a three day supply of food. Do not place orders closer than three days. For further ordering information, please read the other side.
